Dr. Jeanie Friedland
grew up in California and received her Bachelor's Degree from UCLA. She
received her Masters in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and her
Doctorate in Psychology from California Southern University. She received her
Hypnotherapy Diplomas in Basic and Self-Hypnosis, Advanced Hypnosis And
Holistic Hypnoanalysis from Infinity Institute International. She became a
Certified Hypnotherapist through Infinity Institute International, Inc. as well
as being a Certified Member of the International Medical and Dental
Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA) and the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH).
She has taught in the public schools both here and abroad. She has been
active in the world of music as a singer and a piano teacher. She enjoys
reading and meeting new people and has a passion for travel and learning
foreign languages.
What
is Hypnosis?
During Hypnosis, the body and conscious mind are in a
relaxed neutral state while the subconscious mind remains awake and receptive
to suggestion. Hypnosis is an education-communication process to a person's
mind that allows his/her conscious and subconscious minds to believe the same
message.
